Artist Brush making: From Tool to Treasure

Have you ever considered where your brushes come from? What materials they are made of? Sarah Ann Austin of Legacy Studios is finding tails, giving them purpose and making beautiful and functional brushes with them.

Come see a demonstration on how she makes the most out of the materials around her. You’ll even get to make a Slip Broom/ Paint Brush/Hake/Hakame Brush out of broom corn and cord. 

Materials fee: $20 per student payable to the instructor at the start of the workshop. This fee covers all materials for individual use.
